Automate Construction Scope of Work Preparation

eScope™ for Construction Trades help buyers prepare a professional Scope of Work (SOW) for commercial and residential construction. A SOW is used to define project requirements when buyers are requesting price quotes from multiple contractors. A well defined scope is critical to obtaining apples-to-apples price quotes for bid comparison.

These tools are trade specific (ie: HVAC, electric, plumbing, etc.) and prepare a construction project scope of work that outlines the contractors performance guarantee to comply with various industry requirements, regulations and best practices.

Artificial intelligence identifies the trade, type of project, building and jobsite details to build a set of metrics surrounding the bid project. Users modify core settings by selecting project options or manually editing the final results.

Any traditional variations in the form of standard project enhancements, cost options and pricing alternates are automatically included via line-item and base options as available characteristics of the construction project.

Fatures include:

  • Separate SOW and Option Item Pricing
  • Identifies Project Price Options
  • Industry Metrics Critical to Bid Evaluation
  • Structured Pricing Formats
  • Standardized Quote Submissions

Structured Pricing and Digital Submission™ formats simplify construction bid processes and improve accuracy of contractor price analysis.

Structured Pricing™

eScope™ leverages the advantages of Structured Bid Pricing™ formats in our electronic construction bid submission platforms. By separating the base scope of work from lines items, eScope™ assures the primary scope is clearly defined and priced accordingly. Scope of work, design and material options including unrelated construction work are isolated to assure contractor bids can be compared on an apples-to-apple basis.

Scope of Work

A structured Scope of Work establishes design and performance requirements for a complete construction project as the base bid or price quote. An awesome Scope of Work also includes scope variable options and additional details essential to evaluating contractor bids.

Line Items

Line Items are used to discover pricing on potential change orders while separating project options, variations and alterations from base bid (sow) prices. Standard packages include up to ten line items which may be automatically entered by eScope™ and/or manually entered by authorized project members. Line items may identify Addendum’s that provide a scope of work detail.
