Platforms Support Automated Scope of Work Tools, Contractor / Bid Analysis and Construction Bid Estimates via Supply Chain Integration
SIOUX FALLS, SD (July 01, 2018) – RFQGuides partners with the BidForms Organization to develop secure electronic transfer of construction design and financial data based on cross integration of industry standards built into the platforms. RFQGuides to use Recommendations and APIs from BidForms that define secure connections between construction buyers, contractors and the entire construction project supply chain infrastructure.
The new platforms being developed by RFQGuides include APIs for contractors, material suppliers and manufactures with cloud based SaaS solutions for construction buyers, designers and general contractors. In addition, service provider and supplier APIs offer secure SaaS connectivity across construction project supply chain infrastructure.
The partnership includes the exchange of intellectual property and APIs to the industry organization BidForms where they will be made available to the construction industry. In exchange, BidForms will integrate additional AI and Blockchain support into the APIs for construction industry developers and steering bodies that extend additional layers of security to their members.
Automated Scope of Work Tools standardized construction pricing models to simplify the experience for both buyers and designers to reduce the time between concept and feasibility analysis. RFQGuides is working with industry trade bodies, associations and contractors to design specific SOW Tools for each trade, subcategory and specialty. Scope of Work Tools are provided on-demand and will be priced proportionate to the development requirements.
Working requirements demand every bid package include the analysisand configuration of contractor price quotes.Where possible, contractor bid submissions will be augmented with external data fromDigital Contractor Qualification Statements maintained at the BidForms Organization.
RFQ and BFO worked together defined bid price analysis models and structured them to provide optimum flexibility. The recommendations allow Construction Buyers to compare and configure design features to fit their budgets and the availability of funding. RFQ packed its price analysis with additional features like granular price comparisons and includes the analysis of contingency rates and construction management cost on the budget.
