RFQGuides Cancels Facebook and Twitter Accounts

RFQGuides Cancels Social Media Accounts at Facebook and Twitter As Ineffective Marketing Tools and Drain on Resources.

SIOUX FALLS, SD (January 11, 2020) – RFQ Guides, the leading SaaS solution for construction buyers is closing its social media accounts at Facebook and Twitter. Management explains both platforms have become ineffective in in terms of reaching a market and potential users of its products and services.

Twitter was closed exactly three years to the day after opening the account which coincided with the launch of its electronic construction bid submission platform developed to serve construction industry and trades.

These social media platforms have deteriorated and appear to have targeterd a market of users unfriendly to business and unlikely to make purchases. The risk to businesses small and large alike is not worth the price of admission.

As news aggregators, social media and the Silicon Valley tech world by large began attacking American values using questionable levels of ‘selective censorship’. RFQGuides can no longer associate itself with platforms of such character.

We don’t expect to see a negative impact on business, said Sacha Christos. Twitter users based in the U.S. represents a very small fraction of the American population with some estimates at only 5%. Facebook users between 2019 and 2020 increased only 2% and some demographics even reduced the use of Facebook.

Marketing resources will be better directed at vehicles that have broader reach, greater integrity and less overall risk to business operations.
